Just a quick note;
The union representing United flight attendants took on Delta for paying it's flight attendants for boarding time, claiming that;
a) It was a blatant attempt to blunt unionization efforts at Delta
b) Getting pay for boarding has already been a priority with the union for a couple of decades
c) Without a contract, there is nothing stopping Delta from later taking away the increased pay
d) An attempt to divert from Delta forcing flight attendants to wear "sickening" uniforms.

The response was pretty interesting. One pundit pointed out that if in fact Delta was using increased pay to stave off unionization efforts, it was working, and claiming that the union had been trying for two decades to get boarding pay didn't make much of an argument for unionization, did it?

Everyone was pretty much scratching their heads at the "sickening" uniform thingy. Did it mean the uniforms were ugly, or did it mean the uniforms physically made people sick? The jury is still out on this one.

As for taking away what the company gives, well, of course a socialist organization would make that point. We already see how government does that any time they want. Doesn't address the fact that there are laws about what happens if job conditions change arbitrarily .........

Anyway, Shooter finds the reaction to Delta's new pay policy humorous. It's like these union people don't think before they spew.
